Electrical Systems Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Electrical controls design.
2. Logical program and HMI (Human Machine Interface) design.
3. Create detailed assemble drawings.
4. Create conceptual drawings.
5. Create and maintain Bill of Materials.
6. Support the sales, service, and other departments technically, as required.
7. Meet with customers and obtain detailed information in related to certain projects.
8. Create project proposals, and present information to the customer.
9. Manage projects related to system engineering.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Mechanical design and support.
2. Robotic technical support.
3. Respond to customer technical inquires.
4. Prepare inquiries and responses to the Daihen Corp. International Department.
5. Prepare and distribute technical documentation, presentations, and bulletin reports.
6. Respond to sales inquiries and prepare engineering quotations.
7. Advise and assist in the preparation of equipment manuals.
8. Assemble, test, and troubleshoot robotic and system equipment.
SCOPE OF SUPERVISION
Under general supervision of top engineering management position, Technical Operations Manager: perform a variety of skilled work in engineering, project management, and documentation preparation; perform related work as required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge of: Electrical control design engineering techniques; basic mechanical design and assembly; manufacturing integration and machining techniques and processes.
Ability to: Understand and carry out oral and written instructions; expertise with a personal computer; experienced with CAD related software; communicate in an effective manner. Perform physical assembly of mechanical and electrical components. Maintain and demonstrate a positive and cooperative attitude in the work place and toward fellow employees.
Skill/Experience in: Engineering related environment; preparation of technical documents and materials, Bill of Materials development; creating designs and drawings in a CAD environment; integration of mechatronic systems
Education: College degree preferred. Five years experience. Or combination of education and experience providing the skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job.
