THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
* Possesses enthusiastic, high-energy, and sales-focused personality.
* Ability to provide conceptual drawings and quote proposals in conjunction with customer specifications and needs.
* Ability to communicate and operate in a cross-functional role between engineering and sales departments
* Possesses a strong mechanical aptitude and exposure to robotics, automation design and integration and weld fixture design.
* Ability to demonstrate to potential customers the feature-benefits of Daihen product vs. competitor products.
The position initially reports to Engineering Management.
Education:
College Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent education and experience combined.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
* Robotics, automation design and welding concepts.
* Solid Edge / AutoCAD
* Sales techniques and customer service concepts.
Ability to:
* Serve as the technical liaison for all sales staff.
* Follow through on all aspects of the job.
* Meet and influence the customer.
Skill / Experience in:
* Robotic system concepts, proposals and design.
* Mechanical requirements of Robotic system design and implementation.
* Preparing and making presentations.
