The Staff Clinician in the STAR (Services-To-At-Risk-Youth) Program will provide a range of social work and therapeutic services to children and their families which enable them to deal with problems identified. This position requires an individual who can relate well to children and families in crisis as well as one who is comfortable with advocacy, mediation and team work. The Staff Clinician will provide intakes, assessments, individual, and family counseling and group therapy in-home, in-office, and in-school based settings. This position is based in Ft. Bend county. The successful candidate must be able and willing to work at least 1-3 days in Cypress and Waller counties. Bilingual in English/Spanish required.

Masters or better in Social Work or related field.



Experience

Required

LMSW, LPCI, and/or LMFTA

Must have knowledge of crisis intervention and accepted therapy and counseling treatment models. Bilingual in English/Spanish required. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills. Must be able to work flexible hours which vary according to client needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites Must have reliable transportation.


Preferred

One (1) year experience in case management, crisis intervention, or child welfare.
