Description

DePelchin Children`s Center is an accredited foster care and adoption agency serving the most vulnerable children and families in Texas and working to break the cycles of abuse and neglect. Join our team of expert, dedicated professionals in making tomorrow brighter for children and families.

DePelchin is seeking an EXPERIENCED HUMAN RESOURCES PROFESSIONAL to provide administrative support for the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will be able to dive in and be proactive, manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced business environment, and work independently as well as part of a team. This person must have excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, maintain a professional demeanor and understand professional office etiquette. Duties include: general clerical, such as scheduling and calendar management, assisting with board meeting preparations, maintaining personnel records and files, creating spreadsheets/presentations, preparing invoices, and assisting employees with first level support requests.

Education

Required

High School or better.



Experience

Required

3 years experience providing administrative support. Providing support at the senior management level a plus.

Demonstrated experience supporting multiple team members and/or functions.

Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Microsoft Publisher a plus.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Understanding of office management and daily operations.

Working knowledge of office equipment (i.e., printers, faxes, copiers).

Ability to prioritize and work effectively with deadlines.

Ability to effectively work with all levels of staff, Board members, the public, and the community.


Preferred

Prior experience in HR department preferred. Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) a plus.
