Summary:
This position is responsible for the day-to day planning and operation of the milieu while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. This position directs and trains Youth Workers to carry out all assigned duties for the designated shift. The individual in this position is accountable for the safety and well-being of the children and the youth assigned to their care. They are also responsible for ensuring interventions and activities that are designed to promote growth and stability through their involvement in program design and implementation.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in social science or related fields preferred. Minimum of two (2) years experience in a therapeutic residential setting with some supervision responsibilities relative to direct care programming. Must possess the ability to supervise others, and establish effective relationships, and be a motivated team player. Must be computer literate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires certification in CPR and FIRST AID, as well as a clear driving record with a valid driver's license.
