These are brief descriptions of all current job openings throughout the Agency. Unless otherwise noted, all positions are located at the Memorial location and the hours are 8-5 M-F. The requirements and duties listed are summaries, and are not intended to provide the full scope of any position. Seeking flexible individuals to work in a residential treatment environment providing guidance and intervention activities for troubled children and youth as they move toward permanent placement. Opportunities available at the Memorial and the Richmond TX (710 South 7th St.) locations.
Requirements/skills include:
· 1-2 years of experience in a therapeutic residential setting preferred with knowledge of crisis behavior management, child development and counseling
· CPR and First Aid certification as well as clear driving record and a valid Texas Driver’s License
· High school diploma or equivalent required (Youth Worker I)
· Bachelor’s degree preferred in social science or related field (Youth Worker II)
Work hours:
· All Shifts Available; PRN (On-Call status)-must work at least 4 shifts per month to remain active
(A Shift-6:30am-2:30pm); (B Shift-2:30pm-10:30pm); (C Shift 10:30pm- 6:30 am); (Weekend Shift-6:30am-10:30pm);
