Position: AKN-291 Software Quality Assurance Consultant

1. 4+ years experience in developing Quality Management Plans for enterprise software system to include: custom applications, ERP, and other COTS systems
2. Working knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies
3. CMMI 3 and Six Sigma process improvement experience
4. Metrics definition, collection and management
5. 5CSQE certified

• This Consultant will provide best practice expertise across the full software lifecycle. 
• The Consultant will: define, deliver, and analyze metrics, analyze software development processes, present quality, risk, program management issues and recommendations.
• The Consultant will leverage their experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals

• 4 + years experience with Quality Assurance teams on large-scale enterprise applications
• 4+ years experience with performing large program assessments, performing client surveys and interviews, inspecting work products across the full lifecycle, developing QA processes and metrics, developing and delivering training, and performing )
• 4+ yrs experience with CMM/CMMI level programs
• Experience with offshore software vendor quality management
• Strong Project/Program Management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent  verbal and written communication skills
• Must be a “Do”er. Ideal candidate is not a theorist, but has pragmatic experience driving and delivering software and has applied Quality Assurance principles on these projects.

• Large-scale software systems implementation, risk management, and independent  verification and validation (IV&V) experience
• Proven track record in enterprise business system testing.
• Six Sigma Black Belt
• Certified Software Quality Engineer
• Certified Function Point Counter
• PMP certification with extensive working knowledge of large-scale software program management
• Experience providing Quality Management on integrated hardware/software systems and Business Intelligence systems
• IEEE, ASQ, PMI, IFPUG membership
• ISO 9000 expertise

• Bachelors Degree in related area and minimum of 2 years experience or Associate Degree and 4 years related experience.
