Primary Qualifications
- US Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check
- Two (2) or more years experience managing / leading integration testing
- Oracle/ERP experience desired
Secondary Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years experience managing / leading the use of Testing Tools – HP Quality Center; HP Load Runner (Tools were formerly named Mercury Win Runner / Mercury Load Runner / Mercury Test Director)
- Two (2) or more years personal computer and business solutions software skills
- Two (2) or more years interpersonal, human relations, and communication skills
- Two (2) or more years programming skills
- Two (2) or more years analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in writing and creating technical documents and deliverables
- Operates under deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work on multiple tasks
Principal Duties and Essential Functions:
- Developing ECSS data testing strategy and procedures
- Working with the Test Manager on the testing schedule for integration test and user acceptance test (specifically in the areas of Data Conversion/Loading)
- Developing Data Conversion/Loading test cases and scenarios
- Managing testing functions and testing team resources for the Data Lifecycle Management team
- Coordinating data testing activities with the Air Force
- Planning and implementing the testing tool suite for test management, change request tracking, and requirements tracking within the DLM team
- Understand and communicate common best practices for the testing of application software packages.
- Work with senior managers to implement data test strategy vision and guidance
- Lead the determination and classification of data conversion/loading test defects that affect the functional area’s ability to support/meet organizational goals
- Creates complex data test case scenarios to be used in testing; monitors/oversees the testing of data conversion/loading
- Provides input into developing and modifying data systems to meet client needs
- Provides work direction and guidance to other personnel
- Ensures accuracy of the work of other personnel
Education or Years of Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree + 6 years or Master’s degree + 4 years or PhD + 2 years general IT experience
- Two (2) years experience in Business Process Reengineering (BPR) methods
- One (1) year experience in enterprise applications
