Duties:
This person will work around machines all day. Their focus will be on making sure chips and other debris are removed from around and inside the machines. Should the person start their role while we are in the Charlotte location, their specific duties are as follows:
- Sling chips on a daily basis
- Collect chip pans from all machines
- Clean chips and debris from under pans and conveyors at machine
- Mop and clean under bar racks and parts washer
- Empty scrap from machines at the end of the shift
They will perform other miscellaneous duties as required.
Should the person start the role once we move into the Dallas location, their job function changes as we have a system set up to help remove the debris from the machines. This role becomes an operator role - where they will oversee the process. Must still be able to perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs continuously throughout the day
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours excluding breaks
- Pull or push chip pans, (100-200lbs on rollers)
- Be able to pass the forklift training provided by Dixon
- Solid attendance, and on time for work.
- Safety conscious.
Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical test.
