Dixon is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Sanitary division in the Northeast Region. You will be responsible for growing sales and customer relationships for the Sanitary division. You will promote our broad product offering, providing market based solutions to our customers while providing excellent customer service that supports our customers before, during and after the sale. You will maintain and increase sales programs within assigned territory by keeping customers informed about available services, supplies, prices and new products. You will be required to regularly visit distributors, end users, engineering firms, and customers, planning activities weekly/monthly based on need. Travel is approximately 75% (Mon-Thurs travel).

  • Create and deliver product presentations to distributors and end users
  • Maintain and grow customer relationships within assigned territory
  • Properly document all activity in
  • Maintain and increase sales programs within assigned territory
  • Keep customers informed about available services, supplies, prices and new products
  • Visit distributors, engineering firms, and end users
  • Plan sales activities on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
  • Promoting and pitching target products to end users
  • Traveling 75% of the time

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Person must be able to think mechanically (mechanical aptitude; vision how of things work)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to listen to and interpret customer needs and provide sales solutions
  • Ability to establish and build relationships with customers
  • Self starter, highly motivated
  • Strong computer skills
