Hydrasearch is looking for a Tube Bender Technician in Stevensville, MD! We are looking for an individual who has experience in the tube bending business. The ideal candidate would be able to leverage their experience to help shorten or eliminate the learning curve for Hydrasearch as we bring in new technology to support our customer base. The individual would be able to create processes and identify equipment needed to capture additional business. Our customers have identified us as a critical supplier and have shared in the capital expense for the equipment needed to support their OEM production.
Responsibilities: - Provide fixturing and tooling support for a CNC tube bender
- Program and run prototypes and production on CNC tube bender
- Meet or exceed technical requirements per drawing specifications
Competencies: - Experience in CNC tube bending and metal end forming
- Machine set up, tool change, tool design recommendations highly desired
- Experience in BLM VGP software or equivalent a must
- Experience in V-tube laser measuring software or equivalent
- Experience in tube cutting and end preparation to include cold saws and electronic measuring for production cuts
- Experience with Solidworks or equivalent preferred
- Ability to translate customer drawings into the language needed to program machine for prototype and production
- Familiarity with QA process controls and meet high quality standards

Education Required
High School or better.

Technical/other training or better.

3-5 years: Experience in CNC tube bending and metal forming
