Dow Corning currently seeks a Risk Analyst for a position at our Midland, Michigan facility.

Must have un-restricted employment authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Skills/Requirements
This position is part of the Corporate Risk Management group, with primary responsibility in the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) area, which may involve some or all of the following:

- Refine/update the enterprise risk reporting templates for review with Board of Directors, senior management and other constituencies.
- Develop and apply modeling concepts to risk portfolios and other applications.
- Interface with key risk owners concerning mitigation efforts; key indicators; correlated risks and other points.
- Monitor ERM best practices and report findings. Similarly, track ERM guidance/recommendations from rating agencies, regulatory/oversight groups and related sources.
- Assist/participate in corporate insurance projects and activities (program renewals, claim matters, captive management, etc.) as necessary.
- Anticipate numerous special projects.

Position Requirements

Ideal Experience:
- An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics or related field of study. Entry level years experience will consider recent graduate. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Prefer familiarity with At Risk, Crystal Ball or similar decision making software/application(s). Rely on influence and facilitative skills and maintaining a strong sense of urgency for critical deadlines. A demonstrated capability to quickly understand complex situations and determine strategies and action required for improvement critical competencies for success. Self starter, with capability to work with little supervision. Exceptional time manager. Capable of working with ambiguous subject matter and deciphering considerable amounts of information. Influencing/communication skills. The ideal candidate is collaborative with a track record of developing strong relationships across the organization. Superior intellect; a combination of mental flexibility, creativity and judgment. An analytical and effective problem solver with strong strategic orientation. Exceptional oral and written presentation skills as well as strong interpersonal skills. Establishes and adheres to high standards of personal and professional excellence. Creates a can-do environment; is proactive; views situations as challenges rather than problems. Unquestionable integrity.
