Dow Corning currently seeks a Washington DC Government Affairs Manager for a position in Washington, D.C.

Must have un-restricted employment authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Skills/Requirements
Advance the companys interests before the U.S. Congress and the Executive Branch. The individual in this position will coordinate the corporations Washington, DC advocacy efforts as an integral member of the Government Affairs team. The individual will contribute to the development of strategies and the delivery of Dow Cornings consistent priorities on a range of policy and advocacy efforts, including, but not limited to, advancement of policies supporting renewal energy deployment. As such, the position has tremendous visibility to employees at all levels of the organization, including senior management at the highest levels.

Desired Requirements:
Minimum 5 years legislative, lobbyist and/or government experience. Must have established relationships in the U.S. Congress and the Executive Branch. Excellent analytical, management and communication skills, including written and verbal communication. Must have strong organizational and leadership skills.

Education Requirements
B.A./B.S. required; J.D., M.A., M.B.A. preferred. Percentage of Travel 20% Country USA State/Province/Region District of Columbia Site Location Washington, D.C. Preferred Qualifications: Solar, Chemical, Silicone, Healthcare industry experience preferred.
