Description:
This is a winter season position, from December to April. Deer Valley bakery externs assist in the production, presentation and display of baked goods and pastries, with an emphasis on quality, appearance and service to our guests. The extern must be able to follow established recipes and procedures and approach job in an organized, professional manner. The extern will have the opportunity to work a variety of shifts, from early morning to late evenings, and perform a variety of tasks, from bread baking to cake finishing, ice creams and plated desserts.
Deer Valley will provide chef pants, chef coat, scarf, apron, had and nametag. Bakery extern needs to provide work shoes, French knife, paring knife, serrated knife, off-set spatula and other pastry tools as needed.
