Essential Functions Statement(s)
Assist all customers (retail and Shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
Answers phone call timely, providing price quotes and other information.
Reviews body shop orders to ensure that all pricing is in line with estimates as needed.
Provides a high-level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Pulls and fills orders and coutner tickets from stock on hand.
Helps stock parts that come in to the dealership as needed. Prepares shipments when necessary for parcel pick-up.
Conducts themselves in a professional and ethical manner at all times while respresenting the company on/off premises.
Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
Locates out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submits purchase order (PO) as needed.
Notidies service advisor(s) and/or customer when special ordered parts have been received.
Follow up on back-orders as required.
Replenishes inventory as needed. Helps stock shelves as requested.
Ensures accurate billing and pricing on all internal and external tickets or repair orders (RO).
Follows all cash handling procedures for counter sales from customers and all charge tickets are signed for accurately.
Ensures that customers receive their copy of the invoice/receipt as required.
Issues credit for returned parts, ensuring that invoice and purchase price are accurate and applies any re-stocking fees as required.
Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up.
Cleans front/back counter area as needed.
Assists with inventory of merchandise and parts as required.
Attends parts meetings as required.
Maintains a safe working environment for themselves and others and adheres to company safety policies and procedures.
Operates parts delivery vehicle correctly and obeying all traffic rules and laws so as to promote safety and awareness as needed. Operates forklift or Industrial truck safely and in compliance with company procedures.
