Job Description:
Medical Careers Institute is the School of Health Sciences at ECPI College of Technology; a premier provider of educational programs for the healthcare industry. Healthcare is one of the economy's fastest growing sectors and Medical Radiography is one of Healthcare's most in-demand career fields. The goal of the Medical Radiography program is to prepare our students for entry-level careers as Radiologic Technologists.
Medical Careers Institute is currently seeking a leader in the profession to oversee our Medical Radiography Program, to include:
* Coordinating the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of the Medical Radiography Program curriculum
* Hiring new faculty
* Supervising and evaluating faculty
* Classroom instruction
* Preparing reports necessary for continued approval or accreditation of program
* Evaluating textbooks, reference books and other teaching materials
* Conducting faculty meetings
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
* Master's Degree in Biology, Health Science or a related field required
* R.T. (R), ARRT (Registered Technologist in Radiography, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
Experience:
* Minimum of three years full-time experience as a Radiographer
* Minimum of two years experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program in Radiography
Skills & Abilities:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to organize and prioritize work flow
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently
* Computer skills a plus
