Primary Job Responsibilities
Construction, operations, and maintenance of antennas and cell site equipment and other telecommunications systems. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and maintains telecommunications equipment or systems: operates related test equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format: Uses predetermined methods, sequences and setups to perform inspections or tests: Collects and prepares data for evaluation: Makes, records, and reports observations.
Basic Qualifications
- High-School Diploma
- 12 + years experience with installing, maintaining, and operateing telecommunications equipment
- Ability to climb and work at heights, valid driver's license with clean driving record
Additional Minimum Qualifications/Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Electronics or Related Field preferred
- Climbing Safety and Rescue Training and Certification
- Anritsu Sweep Test Equipment Training and Certification
- HVAC and/or Generator Troubleshooting and Maintenance Skills
- Class B CDL with Air Brakes Endorsement
Other Essential Functions
Position requires driving between worksites, availability for 24/7 response, and some possible travel outside of primary market for limited periods of time.
