Description:
A local manufacturing plant is looking for a maintenance person to service, repair, adjust and test machine devices and all equipment that operates on the basis on mechanical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic principles, including all types of industrial production equipment. Punch presses, hydraulic presses, tube benders, metal cutting saws, welders, woodworking equipment and sewing machines. Inspect and diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them; checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary. Lubricate machinery; repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools; reassemble equipment. Trouble shoot, assemble, install and or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components. Operate cutting torches and welding equipment. Plan, organize and or assist with various manufacturing projects such as machine relocation, installation, production fixtures jigs, facility improvements maintenance and any other jobs relating to the manufacturing operation.
