Description
ITEC –Program Advisory Services (PAS) – Strategic Sourcing - Senior Manager
Ernst & Young's Information Technology Enablement Center (ITEC) is a Center of Excellence that assists our national advisory practices in – planning, leading practices, methods, pursuits, resource & teams, delivery and management of large, complex full lifecycle initiatives in the space of Information Technology.
The Program Advisory Services (PAS) Advanced Solutions organization within ITEC focuses at the intersection of business, technology and large/complex initiatives and assists organizations in the following areas:
- Complex Programs
- Initiative Portfolio Management & Governance
- Innovation Strategy and Management
- Strategic Outsourcing
- Transformation and Change Management
We have an opening for a Senior Manager specializing in Strategic Sourcing.
Responsibilities
- Proven expertise in enterprise cost and value management analysis, strategies and models
- Demonstrated expertise in evaluating global sourcing strategies, models and critical assessment of existing sourcing strategies
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting risk-adjusted cost-benefit, value-risk and business case analyses for complex global sourcing initiatives
- Proven expertise in contract analysis, vendor evaluation and off-shore team management,
- Proven expertise in the full outsourcing lifecycle of complex (>50M) global sourcing initiatives in the BPO, ITO, KPO &/or DPO space.
- Demonstrated expertise in program management and governance of complex (>50M) global sourcing initiative lifecycles.
- Domain expertise in one or more of the following – Finance & Accounting Processes, IT Operations & Infrastructure service delivery processes, Product design processes and (global) knowledge management approaches
- Six-Sigma (Black Belt), LMP (lean manufacturing practices), SIPOC analysis skills and expertise with program management tools
- Macro-environment understanding of major outsourcing destinations
Position requires 100%.travel.
Qualifications
To qualify, candidates must have:
A bachelor's degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately
7 years of related work experience 15 years or more of Industry/Advisory experience preferred with Bachelors – Engineering, Applied Science, Finance, Economics and/or (desirable)
MBA - Preferred focus in finance, operations or strategy OR Master of Science - Computer Science or Engineering or Applied Science
