CNC Programmer
Job Location: Des Moines, IA

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Program CNC machining center, using Mastercam version X2, to cut EDM electrodes. Openings are on 2nd and 3rd shifts but may be required to work and training on other shifts.
- Design, program and cut copper and graphite electrodes using Mastercam version X2 and high speed CNC machining centers
- Uses various machining techniques to produce a quality plastic part that meets the requirements of the customer.
- Provides tooling support to the engineering, production, quality and maintenance departments of Accumold.
- Optimizes performance of the assigned CNC machining center.
Qualifications:
- Prefer three or more years programming competency with Mastercam version X2.
- Proficient at designing with surfaces and solids in Mastercam and applying tool paths.
- Understanding of mold building a plus.
- Experience with CNC EDM sinkers is a plus.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Starting at $23/hr but will go higher depending on experience.
- Differential of 5% & 15% for 2nd and 3rd shifts respectively.
