Job Description:
CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY FOR .NET PERSON
We are currently working on a great contracting opportunity for a .Net person with one of our clients.
The skills we are looking for are:
VB.Net preferably but C# works
ASP.Net - will not use heavily
Object Oriented design
SOA knowledge and experience is a plus
T-SQL is a must
Scrum and Agile methodologies are a plus
Our client has a system that manages groups of people tracking sales statistics over the course of 1-3 years. Start date on this position would be June 2nd. This person will work on one project for 3-6 months and then roll to a longer term project. This project will last through August 2009.
The work will consist mainly of new development using VB.Net. Some UI work, but this is mainly done by another team. The team works through an agile and pair programming concept. Work is done in 2-week sprints. Code is checked in every day and is expected to be in working order. They are devoted to NUnit and FitNesse testing techniques. Some VB6 support may be required but should be minimal.
