Position Summary:
Performs in-depth credit analysis for the Correspondent Lending Department, including credit report preparation, loan document review, financial analysis, customer inquiry, and management information reporting. Position is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers as well as Farm Credit System entities. Position will have primary responsibility for the analysis of large, complex agribusiness loans, lead banks and financial counterparties. Strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze complex financial transactions are requirements of this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education including a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, agricultural economics, business administration or a related field. An equivalent amount of related experience may be substituted for this academic background. Experience of three years in banking, business operations, or commercial credit is preferred. Knowledge of the Farm Credit System, commercial lending credit analysis, loan accounting, and Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel and Access). Skill in oral, written and interpersonal communication. Ability to work well with corporate customers, correspondent banks and industry professionals. Ability to travel on a limited basis in the performance of the job.
