Ferrum College has an immediate opening for a dependable and conscientious Food Production Technician-Salad Prep to perform a variety of tasks including preparing/set up of full service breakfast and salad bar for breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals and comply with menu requirements. Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, supervisors, kitchen staff, and student body to ensure customer satisfaction. Assist Purchasing Manager in organization of food storage areas. Maintain all equipment in the Salad Prep Area to ensure a clean and healthy operational condition.
This is a full time, 40-hour week position, varying schedule with occasional holidays and overtime. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods of time and must be able to lift 10-25 pounds frequently and 25-50 pounds occasionally.
