Dining Services Technician – Cook
Ferrum College has an immediate opening for a dependable and conscientious Dining Services Technician – Cook to perform a variety of tasks including preparing/cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals and comply with menu requirements. Knife skills, Serv-Safe certified and cooking experience in a high volume environment. This is a fast paced position. Successful candidate must be able to assume other positions, within Dining Services, quickly when needed. Maintain all equipment in the kitchen in a clean, healthy operational condition.
This is a 10 month, full time, evening shift, 40 hours per week position. Individual must be willing to work every other weekend. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods of time and must be able to lift 10-25 pounds frequently and 25-50 pounds occasionally.
