Minimum Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution or equivalent accreditation with advanced preparation in women's health or child health and current clinical competence. Florida Registered Nurse license (or eligibility), learning-centered philosophy of education, a commitment to diversity, and collegial working style.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience in higher education, research experience, and experience with alternative teaching styles and technology in education.
Special Instructions to Applicants
Appointment will be made at a faculty rank commensurate with the candidate's experience on a 9 or 12-month, multi-year appointment basis. Hiring selection will also include consideration of program needs.
Position will be filled pending budgetary approval.

Job Description
Reports to Director, School of Nursing. Faculty responsibilities include teaching, nursing clinical practice instruction, service and scholarly activities as well as curriculum refinement; course development; student advisement; and continuing education.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must be knowledgeable about content and research in discipline and innovations related to the use of technology in support of instruction. Demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to curriculum development and to active involvement in the community and in professional organizations. Must be a collegial worker, who supports a team approach and is committed to diversity in the student body and staffing.
