Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of experience in student affairs, student organizations or unions, or activities within a higher education institution; or Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of experience in student affairs, student organizations or unions, or activities within a higher education institution. Experience with the Florida Law concerning student fees and student government.
Special Instructions to Applicants
This position requires a police background check & fingerprinting.
Must attend activities and events which require evening, weekend and have the ability to travel.
Repetitive wrist motion typing on a computer keyboard or calculator. Ability to lift and carry approximate 20 lbs and navigate across campus.

Job Description
Reports to the Director of Campus Involvement. Responsible for programming, interacting, marketing, advising and promoting the Office of Campus Involvement, clubs, and organizations. Implements and manages the programs and services within the Campus Involvement area. Provides leadership and support services to clubs, organizations, and Student Government to include: promoting activities, increasing membership and supporting the overall student recruitment and retention through marketing and events. Provides general strategic planning for these functions. Works collaboratively with the other Programming Coordinator in Campus Involvement.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to think creatively and develop innovative ways to provide student life activities that meet student needs.
Computer literacy and knowledge of desktop publishing. Ability to organize and manage multiple, projects simultaneously. Ability to work effectively with students of all ages, and with university personnel. Knowledge of student union philosophy and operation. Knowledge of Florida Law concerning student fees and student government.
