Minimum Qualifications
Earned Ph.D degree from an accredited institution or equivalent accreditation in Forensic Psychology, Human Services, Mental Health & Substance Abuse Counseling, Social Work, or in a related Behavioral Science field with a concentration in Deviant/Violent/Criminal Behavior or Family Violence. Work experience with forensic populations.

Position will be filled pending budgetary approval.
Appointment will be made on a 9-month multi-year appointment basis available August 2010.
General Summary Statement:
Your initial assignment will include teaching, at both graduate and undergraduate levels; course and/or curriculum development; research/scholarship; involvement on College and University committees and/or initiatives; as well as duties as assigned. Duties
Teaches six courses during a two semester academic year in criminal forensics. Specific areas of concentration include forensic psychology and behavioral analysis. Maintains an ongoing service relationship with appropriate community agencies/organizations, while pursuing a research and publication agenda reflective of the faculty rank. Faculty responsibilities also include student advisement, acts as a field liaison, and engages in University service. A commitment to diversity and student success is essential. Candidates should be familiar with distance education technology as well as traditional teaching formats.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience or commitment to the use of technology in distance learning & university teaching. Interest in collaborating both within and outside the University in the development and delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning. Must value continued scholarship and service to the school and university.
