1. MISSION:
• To consolidate the suppliers quality under the responsibility of the position according to the established standards, applying the methodology established by the Quality-Purchasing function
• To ensure the correct incorporation of the pieces to the business productive process through the validation and standardization of the pieces and suppliers productive processes.
2. GENERAL FUNCTIONS*:
• To assure that supplier quality system meets with FICOSA requirements. To audit and evaluate the new suppliers, determining whether they have the tools, the organization and the required level of quality to be a part of the FICOSA suppliers’ optimum panel.
• Main responsible of Components Approval Process
• To develop the suppliers in order to make them reach the quality levels demanded by FICOSA.
• To assure supplier integration into FICOSA System ( Ficosa Development System - FDS, Ficosa Purchasing System - FPS)
• To assure design feasibility through CRT’s & Drawings & guarantee process capability (quality & quantity)
• To meet program milestones regarding validation & approval components
• Component quality assessment to project team through both product & process FMEA & Front Load procedure.
• To link the project team with the overseas suppliers managed by overseas STA
• To follow up the APQP and report it to the project team.
• CRT revisions.
