(www.foreigntranslations.com) is a Greenville, SC based foreign language translation and localization agency specializing in the field of document translations, website localization and interpreting in all the major languages of the world. With over 1500 translators located in 30 countries, our expertise encompasses the disciplines of Law, Science, Technology, Internet, Advertising, Manufacturing, Medicine, Finance and Software Development. We translate documents ranging from technical manuals, legal contracts and marketing collateral to financial statements, training manuals, e-learning courses, web sites, medical journals, software, policy and procedure handbooks, newsletters and much more. We frequently translate documents that range from 1000 words to over several million. In addition, we supply interpreters for depositions, trials and business meetings all around the world. This position will report directly to Director of Client Relations and the CEO.
Job Description
- Prepare proposals for prospective and existing clients
- Create and distribute company wide press releases
- Promote company through social media outlets (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
- Perform market research and competitive analysis
- Assist Marketing Department with the development of online and offline marketing strategies
- Analyze and track effectiveness of existing marketing campaigns (on and offline)
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, journalism or public relations.
- 1-2 years marketing and public relations experience.
- Experience in developing and executing public relations plans for professional services companies.
- Customer service centric
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in English and a foreign language.
- Excellent computer experience. Must be able to work within Windows platforms including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in writing proposals.
- Creative thinker and self starter. Strong abilities to work independently and in teams.
- Enjoys the challenge of working under high pressure in a dynamic, team-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
- Superior organizational ability and attention to detail.
- Must be highly articulate with corporate professional presentation.
- High aptitude for organizing multiple projects, accurately tracking and maintaining all components of each assignment.
Desired Skills
- 2-3 years experience in translation industry or international business
- Experience in marketing services to international companies
- Fluent in a language other than English
- Experience with Web Analytic Tools and Search Engine Optimization
- Experience with Desktop Publishing Tools
