Duties:
Diagnostic Radiological Technologists perform x-ray examinations under the direction of a physician. Work involves the operation of radiological equipment in a hospital. May perform some or all of the following duties: A variety of computerized axial tomographic examination such as intravenous cholangiography, linear tomography; cerebral arteriography/venography, carotid arteriography, myelography and other specialized invasive procedures; cardiac catheterizations. Trains employees, coordinates radiation safety; receives patients and explains procedures, prepares x-ray room and equipment; performs portable and pediatric radiography on wards, in clinic, operating room, emergency room, and recovery room. Performs other duties as assigned.
About the Position:

* Basic Requirements:
* Public Law 97-35 requires that persons who admins radiologic procedures meet the credentialing standards in 42 CFR Part 75. Must have successfully completed an educational program that meets or exceeds the standards and is accredited by an organization recognized by the Department of Education AND be certified radiographers.
