Salary: $10.06 - $11.26 Hourly

Duties: Serves as a Facility Aid in a Fitness Facility. Works under the direction of the Facility Manager. 1. Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility. Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery. Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions. Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts. 2. Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers and other promotional material. 3. Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.

About the Position: This can be an Intermittent (Flexible) position. Flexible employees may work 0-40 hours per week on a scheduled or unscheduled basis. Flexible employees are ineligible for health and dental insurance, 401(K), retirement, annual and sick leave benefits.

  • CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Must possess the following within 6 months of employment: MWR Orientation Course, Customer Service. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Possesses related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to perform the duties of position as indicated above.

  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with Army Regulation (AR) 215-3.
  • Satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check (NAC) that will be initiated upon appointment to a NAF position.
  • You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • Documentation to support Military Spouse Preference needs to be submitted at time of application.
