General Description:
The Health Choices Finance Director is responsible for the fiscal management and regulatory requirements of the Tuscarora Managed Care Alliance. The Finance Director will oversee fiscal aspects, as they relate to the management and operation of the Medicaid HealthChoices Behavioral Health Program and TMCA. The Finance Director has responsibility for all the fiscal, Management Information and business related requirements and functions associated with (1) the contract between Tuscarora Managed Care Alliance and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the provision of Medicaid covered services and (2) the contract between TMCA and the behavioral health managed care organization and risk bearing entity that is responsible to administer the program to service recipients. In addition the Finance Director will commit his/her full attention to supervising all fiscal matters and personnel, completing and preparing all necessary fiscal reports for internal use and contract requirements and overseeing fiscal matters with contracted agencies consistent with the goals and policies set forth by the TMCA and modified from time to time through regular special meetings.
Requirements include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field. Four years accounting experience, preferably in a health, human service, and/or governmental related field, OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Healthcare Finance, Medical Assistance and Managed Care experience preferred.
