Other duties will be based on experience and other qualifications.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and an Professional license with 3+ years of experience. Applicant must have significant experience in the planning, design and construction support of roadways, municipal streets, highways, or State funded roadway improvement projects and designing plans and specifications to local or D.O.T. standards. Candidates must possess a working knowledge of the AASHTO Green Book and Roadside Design Guide. Applicant must have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and be committed to work as a member of a highly productive design team. Experience with MicroStation, InRoads, and/or AutoCAD and with computer use of Word and Excel will be beneficial.
