Maintenance Supervisor - Powerhouse

Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and directs work process of hourly maintenance team members.
Works with other maintenance superintendents/supervisors, engineers, and production managers/supervisors to understand their maintenance needs for daily work and shutdowns, then provide necessary resources to meet those needs.
Ensure 10,000% compliance with OSHA, Georgia-Pacific specifications, state and federal standards, and accounting practices for all work in their areas.
Ensure that all personnel are trained and comply with GP policies.

Education:
Prefer Industrial Technology Degree
High school diploma minimum with work experience in the maintenance industry as a supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:
Leadership experience in a manufacturing company with focus on mechanical and reliability maintenance.
5 or more years of experience in pulp and paper industry preferred.

Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Experience leading maintenance in a large facility preferred.
Must demonstrate strong communication, planning, and organization skills in managing others as well as influencing and building partnerships.
Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and technical troubleshooting skills with a sense of urgency and teamwork.
