Responsibilities:

• Manage and prioritize maintenance activities to ensure tasks are executed at the most effective time to improve availability and reliability of equipment.
• Work in partnership with department and capability leader to develop and communicate task priorities.
• Determine the value of work being requested by Operations based upon Business Needs and Value..
• Support daily needs of the production team in the asset operations expert role.
• Responsible for continuing to embrace and cultivate the Market Based Management (MBM) culture throughout the department by utilizing the MBM framework and guiding principles in everyday decision making.
• Monitor and coach others on work processes to promote operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in industrial maintenance and/or manufacturing operations.
• General knowledge of reliability and maintenance best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

o          Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business or related field.

o    Previous management experience supporting a paper converting operation.

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

• Good leadership, communication and facilitator skills.
• Able to define and optimize production and maintenance plans.
• Strong business savvy, and a working knowledge of finance and economics.
• Able to work effectively with business and operations staffs.
• Efficient use of Microsoft office products and computer based maintenance systems
