Project Engineer - Lexington, KY

The Lexington Plant produces paper cups, plastic plates, and cold cup lids for the retail and food service markets.

Responsibilities:

The Project Engineer is responsible for providing leadership in the areas of packaging design and optimization, project management, and engineering and process improvements across the Printing, Paper Forming, and Plastics Thermoforming departments in the Lexington Dixie Facility.  This position drives process and equipment modifications to improve safety, product quality, reduce waste, and minimize costs.  This position is also responsible for coaching and developing the site''s Packaging Mechanics, including the Lead Packaging Technician.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Process Automation
  
• A minimum of 5 years experience leading projects in a manufacturing environment is required
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• AutoCAD experience
• At least 2 years supervisory experience
