Georgia-Pacific is recruiting a Growth Sales Rep to join our Packaging Division and focus on business generation in the produce market in the midwest and Ontario geography. The position will also have secondary responsibilities for growth in other segments within the Michigan market. The Growth Sales Rep will have a demonstrated track record of sustained profitable sales growth, customer service and value creation. The position will report to the Plant Sales Manager and will be home based.

Responsibilities will include new business generation and current account retention.

Basic Qualifications:

o         High school diploma or equivalent required

o         3+ years of business-to-business sales experience

o         Experience selling for a large manufacturing facility

o         Market knowledge of sales territory

o         Valid drivers license

Preferred Qualifications:

o         Some college

o         5 years of business-to-business sales experience

o         Corrugated packaging sales experience with emphasis in agriculture

Knowledge-Skills-Abilities:

o         Demonstrated ability to open new business.

o         Strong internal and external communication skills including oral, written, presentation, and active listening.

o         Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
