As an application leader at Georgia-Pacific, you will be part of a development team executing both project and maintenance analysis/programming for a custom Order Management System (sales, accounting purchasing, inventory management) using a 3rd party framework that is similar to Force.com.
The application lead will take direction from an IT Manager but will be expected to work with the project or business owner directly to create strategies, apply technical concepts to business requirements, and then code appropriate changes that integrate with current application functionality and strategy. This lead may mentor/manage up to 3 additional team members.
Minimal travel is expected and will range from 5% to 15% depending on project needs.

Basic Qualification: At least 5 years of experience developing custom or commercial Order, Inventory, Accounting Management Systems (Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) or custom Visual Studio (C## or VB.NET) applications. At least 5 years of experience with T-SQL Willingness to travel up to 15% required
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science or Engineering Experience with Sales Order Management and Inventory Management systems Experience leading development efforts (less than 1000 hours) Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology Experience with SSIS and SSRS At least 2 years of experience with Visual Studio (C## or VB.NET) At least 2 years of experience developing Enterprise Applications (250+ users) At least 2 years of experience with Object Oriented programming At least 2 years of experience Debugging Multi-Tier applications At least 2 years of experience with Web Services
