Responsibilities:

The Maintenance person will be responsible for assisting with the installation and repair of mechanical equipment. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Safely support quality, maintenance, and reliability activities by performing           preventive maintenance, making repairs, troubleshooting, and participating in continuous improvement efforts.
Anticipate typical problems, identify potential problems and take appropriate actions.
Dismantling, repairing and reassembling equipment.
Performing work such as fabrication, welding, assembly, cutting, and pipefitting.
Using mechanical tools and inspection gauges.
Working from drawings, verbal instructions or sketches.
Documenting critical information and taking proactive measures.
Operating heavy equipment such as loaders and forklifts.
Operating production equipment to check work.

Basic Qualifications:

 
High School diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of manufacturing experience
Must be willing and able to work in a manufacturing plant environment, including  extended periods of time in noisy, non-air conditioned or unheated areas.
Be willing to work holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

 
Associate Degree in any mechanical field
Knowledge of a computerized maintenance management system
Basic electrical knowledge of 3 phase systems
