Currently, our Palatka, FL location is seeking qualified professionals for the position of: Asset Availability Leader Key Responsibilities: - Create an environment where the team achieves zero incidents in Environmental, Health and Safety
- Lead and foster a safety culture that values risk identification and personal ownership, through a principle based approach
- Lead and mentor employees to apply MBM in ways that are consistent with our Guiding Principles
- Execute GPs reliability and asset strategy for technology center
- Lead the implementation of complete asset strategies and facilitate zone ownership strategy and operator basic care execution by transferring ownership to operators and technicians to operate, maintain and improve
- Provide technical expertise and transfer knowledge to operators/technicians, Technician Capabilities Leader, Asset Availability Leader (AAL), Reliability Coordinator, and Shift Leaders
- Provide strategic and tactical leadership in the areas of safety, asset reliability, cost optimization, quality capability, productivity and strategic capital planning and execution
- Lead the effort to identify, investigate, recommend and implement equipment improvements, new systems and process changes that will improve productivity, yield, quality and/or reduce costs
- Obtain Engineering and Project Management resources on capital improvement projects
- Optimize the technology center
- Position team for year-over-year continuous improvement
- Interface with Shift Leaders, Technician Capabilities Leader, Skill Developers and operators/technicians to identify and address knowledge and performance gaps in their technical center
- Develop/verify skills of others in the team system
- Work with support personnel resolving short term reliability issues
- Manage financial plan for the area
- Manage through prioritization of work requests for technical center
- Manage storeroom inventory for spare process equipment that supports reliability strategy
- Ensure excellence in the areas of Chemical process safety and process safety management
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor''s degree or higher in a Technical field
- 2 years or more of experience in a continuous process work environment
Or - Associates degree in a Technical field
- 5 years or more of experience in a continuous process work environment
Or - High School diploma
- 10 years relative work experience in the utilities field
Basic Qualifications (continued): - Experience troubleshooting equipment issues
- Experience analyzing production loss and reliability data
- Demonstrated technical knowledge related to Boiler/Turbine and Power Generation processes
- Developed and lead Root Cause Failure Analysis strategies
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors of Science degree or higher in Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- CMMS System experience (i.e. SAP / MP2 / ActivePlant)
