GP Professional is currently looking for an Account Executive for the Minneapolis market.

The Account Executive will manage the growth of a portfolio of innovative brand-name products including: Dixie, enMotion, Compact, and Angel Soft Ultra to both end-user and distributor customers. The Account Executive develops and manages annual growth plans with strategic distributors, works with key end-users to create demand for GP proprietary products, and supports local sales efforts of distributor sales representatives (DSRs) through end-user activity within their primary segments of focus. Key market segments include: Office Buildings, Colleges and Universities, and Healthcare. This home-based position is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and will report to the District Sales Manager.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years work experience in a sales, managerial, leadership, customer service and/or relationship building role.
Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite of Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel is required.
Valid US Driver''s License is required.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Business to business sales experience.
 Experience selling in the office building, healthcare, manufacturing, and/or education space.
Bachelors degree or higher.

Demonstrated ability to successfully sell a value-added portfolio of products employing a consultative, problem-solving approach.
Demonstrated ability to work independently against a variety of objectives using time management skills to meet and exceed internal/external customer expectations.
Strong communication skills including oral, written, presentation and active listening.
Demonstrated ability to view problems, issues and needs from a customers perspective; incorporating creative problem solving techniques to identify appropriate solutions.
Demonstrated ability to maintain consistently updated customer activity reports/files; or similar data-mining capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to constructively participate in matrix-level, cross-functional projects.
Demonstrated ability for continuous learning in a highly competitive, fast changing market place.
