We are seeking an Analyst to join Georgia-Pacifics International Trade Capability (ITC) working within the at the Georgia-Pacific headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Daily business consultation and customer service to the GP businesses; therein driving ITC awareness, increasing compliance and communication. Company-wide import and export valuation: tracking and declaration of additions to price paid or payable; identifying opportunities, watch points and gaps in transactions. Communicate with cross-functional teams (including customer service, sales, sourcing, transportation, and contacts at the facilities) to accomplish core responsibilities and project goals. Assist with the FTA qualification of products and the drafting of certificates of origin Assist in the classification of products for import and export activities as needed Continuous improvement projects as needed within the ITC Proactively identify risks and immediately raise compliance concerns to leadership Continuous learning and application of the MBM culture Excellent customer service, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Strong interest in international trade; both compliance and value creating activities Demonstrated ability to balance priorities and keep long-term projects and goals in perspective with immediate/short-term responsibilities. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: A minimum of 2 years of experience in international trade-related activities or roles. Bachelors Degree or higher. Experience in HTS classification, valuation determination and free trade agreement qualification. Understanding of Incoterms and their application. At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office products to include: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. PREFERRED: U.S. Licensed Customs Broker Bachelors Degree or higher in International Business/Trade, Logistics or Supply Chain Specific experience manipulating data in spreadsheets (preferred experience with pivot tables).
