Maintenance/Reliability Engineer Responsibilities: Manage and prioritize maintenance activities to ensure tasks are executed at the most effective time to improve availability and reliability of TAD Paper Machines. Work in partnership with department and capability leader to develop and communicate task priorities. Planning and coordination of shutdowns on each of the TAD machines. Act as key liaison between manufacturing engineers and maintenance to determine departmental priorities and execution of work. Determine the value of work being requested by Operations based upon Business Needs and Value. Support daily needs of the production team in the asset operations expert role. Responsible for continuing to embrace and cultivate the Market Based Management (MBM) culture throughout the department by utilizing the MBM framework and guiding principles in everyday decision making. Monitor and coach others on work processes to promote operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Five (5) or more years of experience in industrial maintenance and/or manufacturing operations. General knowledge of reliability and maintenance best practices. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business or related field. 7 or more years experience supporting reliability efforts in a paper mill. Previous management experience supporting a paper machine operation.
Knowledge Skills Abilities: Good leadership, communication and facilitator skills. Able to define and optimize production and maintenance plans. Strong business savvy, and a working knowledge of finance and economics. Able to work effectively with maintenance and operations staffs. Efficient use of Microsoft office products and computer based maintenance systems.
