RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Reliability Supervisor will be responsible for the direct supervision of approximately 14 craftsmen and technicians, and shared responsibility for developing reliability capability among machine operators at the facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a reliability capability that supports a safe and productive operating platform. They will be expected to build strong PM, and operator basic care systems that creates a systematic and effective reliability platform. Key deliverables in the role will be reliable machine performance to ensure a safe and environmentally compliant operation. The expectation is to lead in a way that supports/enhances our MBM Guiding Principles, fosters teamwork, and produces results.
This person will report directly to the Maintenance Superintendent. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to: planning, assigning and directing work, training, evaluating employee performance and recognizing and addressing both positive and negative individual and team performance. This person will work with key operations personnel such as the Plant Manager, Operations Superintendents and Supervisors, Human Resources Manager, Safety and Environmental Manager, Quality Manager, maintenance and production personnel at all levels of the site organization in efforts to identify improvement opportunities and solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing, industrial or military environment.
- Experience in maintenance processes including experience with CMMS systems
- Must be flexible to work any assigned schedule, including variable start times, overtime, weekends, and holidays if needed.
- Must be able and willing to work in an industrial manufacturing plant environment, including extended periods of time in noisy, non-air conditioned or unheated areas.
- Must be able and willing to work safely, and promote and enforce safe work practices.
PREFEREED QUALIFICATIONS:
- An Associates degree or higher
- Experience in Wood Products Manufacturing
