MAINTENANCE MASTER ELECTRICIAN - 015535
Description
Georgia-Pacific, maker of Dixie Products in Lexington, KY for over 50 years, is now hiring for a Maintenance Master Electrician.

MAINTENANCE MASTER ELECTRICIAN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect, trouble shoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical problems.
- Change out parts, repair or upgrade electrical equipment, relays, fuses, motor and/or wiring and transfer work to shop as necessary.
- Maintain lighting in plant and Buss Barr
- Perform clean up as necessary.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
o High school diploma or equivalent
o At least 18 years of age
o Eligible to work in the United States
o Must have 2 year Technical degree or higher in electro-mechanical curriculum
o Must have 5 years experience as an electrician
o Experience reading blue prints and single line diagrams
o Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
o Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
o Knowledge of electronic circuitry and test equipment
o Experience working with servo drives and software systems
o Must have Technical application of electrical principles and understanding of safe electrical work
o Knowledge or electrical theory to include ohms law and inductance
o Experience with AC/DC drives, PLC Controls and ladder logic
o Must have Kentucky Master Electricians License.
o Must be able to work a 12 hour shift, including weekends, holidays, days or nights.
o Willingness to work in a hot, humid, noisy and sometimes cold industrial environment
o Willingness to wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, bump cap, ear plugs, full leather steel-toed boots, etc.)
o Experience working from ladders scaffolds and man lifts
o Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred:
o Able to troubleshoot both paper cup converting machines and plastic thermoforming machines
