Operations Excellence Specialist- Reliability

The Operations Excellence Specialist will utilize leadership, maintenance and reliability experience and communication abilities to implement key work processes and process improvement tools at multiple GP Manufacturing facilities. They will need to work on projects with manufacturing facilities to drive industry best in area of availability, utilization, cost, and procedures/training. These projects will require the Operations Excellence Specialist to establish implementation teams; teach work processes; adapt to new training methodologies; align work processes to match facility needs; roll-out process improvement tools; provide on- site support; establish long- term measures and tracking. They will need to use internal and external performance benchmarking to drive step change in performance improvement. The position will be home-based, and requires 80% travel. Education:

Bachelors Degree Required, Engineering Degree Preferred
 
Knowledge and Skills:
Maintenance experience with a reliability aptitude
Experience facilitating FMEA or RCM
Understanding of reliability tools
Strong computer skills (analysis and modeling)
Facilitation, Communication (oral and written)
Capable of leading root cause analysis
Knowledge of Operations and Maintenance
Change management
Project Management
Auditing
 
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Required, Engineering Degree Preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in reliability or maintenance
Willing to travel up to 80%
