MAINTENANCE CONTRACTOR COORDINATOR

Georgia-Pacific Monticello LLC is seeking highly motivated, knowledgeable and experienced candidates with excellent maintenance skills who can add value to our team for the Maintenance Mechanical Coordinator position.

Key Functions:

• Qualified Candidate will work as principled entrepreneur in collaboration with maintenance and operations teams to implement new ideas for advancing Cinergy with contractor maintenance crews.
  
• Qualified candidates will utilize both Electrical and Mechanical skills in developing scopes, contract requisitions, weekly and daily scheduling and leading contractors in making repairs throughout the mill.
  
  
• Must have good reading and math skills.
  
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
  
• Must be willing to adhere to safety rules and regulations
  
  

Basic Qualifications:

• An associate degree in a related field (machinist, pipe fitter welder, electrical) or 10 to 12 years industrial maintenance experience or a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance experience.
  
• A high school diploma or GED.
  
• Experience demonstrating effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  
  
• Must be able to work in a hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment.
• Must be willing to work shift work, variable start times, including overtime, weekends, and holidays (as scheduled).
  
• Must be willing to work around dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances.
  
• Must be willing to wear safety equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats, hearing protection, safety shoes, etc.
• Must be willing to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for an extended period of time (lifting, walking, climbing, twisting, and stooping) with or without a reasonable accommodation.
