Leaf River Cellulose, LLC, is a world-class manufacturing facility where team members are using innovative technologies to produce specialty and market fluff pulp for a variety high-end uses across the globe.
Our products are used in applications ranging from paper products to diapers and hygiene products as well as specialty applications including textiles, pharmaceuticals, food, paints, and plastic molding components.

Primary Job Responsibilities: - Proactively and deliberately advance MBM culture
- Lead and advance the asset availability and reliability of the Utilities area
- Lead and promote root cause analysis (RCA), capture and categorize loss events, lead operator basic care, advance strategies around lubrication and implement asset strategy improvement (ASI).
- Collaborate with Operations leader, Optimizer, Gatekeeper, Team leaders and technicians to drive out repeated failures and implement all aspects of the companys reliability mental model.
- Collaborate with operational support people, maintenance, reliability, and engineering to drive improved asset availability.
- Maintain Utilities reliability data in the AAL database and monitor key reliability measures, establishing additional measures as needed.
- Develop scope of work for area and annual maintenance outages.
- DMF development for capital and expense reliability initiatives.

Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in engineering or related field of study with a minimum of 3 years experience in operations, maintenance, reliability, engineering or other relevant support experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in engineering or related field of study with a minimum of 5 years experience in operations, maintenance, reliability, engineering or other relevant support experience in a manufacturing environment including a minimum of 2 years reliability application experience.
- Experience in Power and Recovery and lime kiln and caustic operations in a Kraft Mill.
- Basic process control knowledge/experience.
- Experience with reliability and Root-Cause-Analysis methodology and tools.
- Experience in developing and implementing improvement processes and projects.
- Experience in troubleshooting equipment issues and analyzing production loss and reliability data.
