Position Summary

The GP Engineering internship program provides hands-on work experience in engineering principles and allows application of classroom fundamentals in everyday business practices. GP believes that this combination of school and work will provide a competitive edge when you enter the workforce.

Basic Qualifications

o Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines and policies and procedures.

o Candidate must be enrolled at an accredited college or university and classified as a third or fourth year engineering student.

o Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Chemical Engineering

o Effective interpersonal skills

o Eager to learn and contribute

o Willing to work in manufacturing setting

o Willing to work in a tobacco free environment

o Willing to work in hot, humid, cold and noisy environment

o Willing to wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
