Georgia Pacifics Leaf River Cellulose facility is currently seeking a Pulp Machine Technician.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills (record keeping and documentation)

Preferred

• Previous paper/pulp machine experience
• Industrial lift truck certification

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to comprehend complex work instructions & documentation
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to maintain a strict adherence to safety rules & regulations
• Ability to work in a noisy industrial environment
• Ability to perform repetitive & physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, working at heights, climbing, pushing, twisting, stooping)
• Willing to work in a tobacco free environment
